Delivery Information
Introduction
Delivery charges are based on the size and weight of the items being ordered. The delivery charge is automatically calculated as items are added to the order and is shown at the bottom of the basket.
Delivery Costs & Times
The majority of items are sent by next working day courier. Smaller items are charged at £8.95 including VAT whilst larger items are charged at £10.95 including VAT. Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Please Note: VAT has to be charged on the courier delivery charge even if the rest of your order is exempt.
Small items will be sent via Royal Mail Packet Post (First Class) and should arrive within 1-3 days of being despatched. This is charged at £3.95 and is not subject to VAT.
Large and heavy items such as Rise Recliners and Scooters will attract additional delivery charges. The actual delivery charge will depend on the size, weight and volume of the item being ordered and will be shown in the basket when such an item is added.
All courier deliveries will require a signature upon delivery.
Please Note: We currently only deliver to the United Kingdom mainland.
Availability Guide
When the availability of an item is stated as 'Available for Immediate Despatch' it means the item is in stock and will be despatched within 1-2 working days. If a different availability is listed (e.g. Usually despatched within 7-14 days) it means the product is not in stock but we are usually able to obtain the item from our supplier within this time frame. If the item will take longer than this we will contact you and advise of the estimated delivery time.
If you order items with different availabilities, we will normally make one delivery once all the items have arrived into stock. Very occasionally, we may choose to deliver the items as they become available rather than wait until all the items have arrived into stock. The delivery charge you pay will not change if we chose to part despatch your order.
Delivery Problems
All deliveries should be examined carefully as soon as they arrive. Any damages or shortages should be reported immediately on 0114 272 3729.
